Speaking about Sitecore is something I have actually wanted to do for a very long time. After multiple times contemplating standing up and speaking. I finally decided to actually do it at the London Sitecore User Group on July 21st 2022.

Motivation
Why I have not though is due to one of the below reasons
- Not having a topic I thought was worthy of presenting
- Nervous for speaking in front of developers and architects of Sitecore
- Lack of motivation
What was the presentation topic
Sitecore Content Publisher that is part of Sitecore Content Hub. I have extensive experience with Content Hub and Publisher and felt that the topic could be interesting.
Sitecore Content Publisher is a topic that is pretty unknown in the Sitecore world and I thought it would be useful to get the conversation started.

How did the presentation go?

I really enjoyed presenting and after some technical issues with Wi-Fi was ready to go.
The user group had around twenty people in attendance and eight of these were colleagues from EPAM.
The talk consisted of a presentation explaining all the different parts of Sitecore Content Publisher. Then during the presentation a demo was shown of the end-to-end process.
The slot I had was for 30 minutes and all of these were used. Even got a few great questions from the audience at the end of the presentation and demo.
The demo took an InDesign file, uploaded the content within new template. Then after configuring the files, a test publication was created to shown the power if Sitecore.
Would I do it again?
Absolutely and I really enjoyed the experience. I have already starting thinking about another topic that is Sitecore Content Hub related as this area is one lacking information from developers.
I will create a new blog post about the presentation topic so the information can be shared to the everyone. So watch this space in the future for more posts !
