Introduction

This was going to be the 2nd post in a 5 part series on building react components for Sitecore Content Hub. However time got away from me due to workload these blogs stalled.

I am disappointed I didn’t manage to get this done however I have some great news.

Someone I work with at EPAM managed to build a great solution and wrote a great blog on how to get started and build your first components.

Roel has a great blog called – ‘Restaurant of Mistaken Orders’ and has written some great posts on his first hand experience with Sitecore Content Hub.

I want to share here Roel’s post on – Cooking Up a Vite Project for Sitecore Content Hub

It’s a great post and offers the real steps for setting up a project using Vite, Typescript and React. The steps are easy to follow and when I tested it worked perfectly.

Go check out his post and the rest of his blog as their are some really interring posts he has written recently.

Also he does say at the end of the post he will talk about debugging external components and also convert a knockout components to react in future posts.

Anyone working with Content Hub and either has just done or about to do an upgrade. This post should save you time and give you a good foundation.

Happy coding!
